Christmas 2019

It’s Christmas Eve, and I have a few moments to sit in the quiet of the morning, reflecting on the past few days and letting the glow of multi-colored lights reflect on me. It is serene. I am thankful.

Thinking through what topics need to be highlighted to adequately summarize our 2019, faces and conversations flood my mind. You see, it’s not really the “what” that happened over the course of the last year, it is the “who” that lived life with us.

So, I’m pleased to present a photo diary of some of the most amazing people I know, that made our year what it was. There are some notable absences from the photo collage, but I realize there were many moments that we were so busy living, we forgot to capture them on “film”.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a 2020 filled with God’s love and grace.

Lots and lots of girls. In February, we welcomed a French exchange student (and a robot baby) to the mix.

In September I said goodbye to one of the most remarkable groups of people I have ever worked with. My time at the Tijeras Foundation was invaluable, and I will miss these gems terribly.
